What is GPS?
It stands for Global Positioning System
There is a network of 24 satelites around the planet which allow GPS receivers to work out their location by doing some technical calculations !
They use at least three satelittes to pinpoint your location by a process known as triangulation.
Always take them out of the car when you leave it and always remove the thing that attaches them to the windscreen! This is basic security advice from the homewatch!
